General Terms and Conditions
All personal information held by Blue Lilac is treated as private and confidential. It is used solely by Blue Lilac and will not be disclosed to other parties unless Blue Lilac feels that the client has the intent to harm themselves or others.
The client understands that the therapist may refuse to undertake treatment should this be contraindicated due to medical or other conditions that the client may present with, due to concerns regarding the health, safety and well being of either the client or the massage therapist.
Each person reacts differently to massage and holistic therapy and in no case does Blue Lilac guarantee any particular outcome from a treatment or series of treatments.
Therapists reserve the right to refuse or terminate treatment to any client, at their own discretion. In this instance full payment is still required and no refund will be given.
Examples of when this may occur include:
- If the client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs at the time of treatment;
- If the client has withheld or not provided information relevant to treatment;
- If the client’s actions, words or behaviour are inappropriate or of a sexual nature;
- If the client is threatening, aggressive or violent, or is in any way perceived to pose any type of risk to the therapist.
Appointments are subject to availability and are made by either contacting Blue Lilac via 07546370498 or firstname.lastname@example.org and arranging a suitable time, or by booking online via the website.
In the event that you do not turn up to your appointment, you will be charged in full for the treatment. It is the client’s responsibility to remember the appointment day, time and venue.
In the event that you arrive late to any appointment, no concession will be made, and the therapist will terminate the treatment at the pre-arranged time.
In the event of unexpected circumstances rendering the therapist unable to provide an arranged therapy, the therapist will contact you to rearrange your appointment time.
Cancellation of any booked treatments MUST be with at least 24 hours notice otherwise payment of said treatments will be required to be paid in FULL.
Payment is taken at the appointment. Block booking payments are taken in full at the first session in the series of treatments.
Payment methods accepted include: cash, cheque, or credit/debit card.
When booking a series of treatments, payment for the block is taken in full at the first appointment in the series.
Each following treatment can be booked with the therapist at each session, or all treatment times can be arranged with the therapist at the first appointment, or by yourself online. This can be done by booking four appointments at your convenience using the online booking system on the website.
Block booking appointments are subject to all of the Blue Lilac terms and conditions.
No refunds are given for treatments already taken. If you require a refund for any remaining treatments, the cost of any used treatments will be deducted from the total refund.
In the event that the therapist was unable to complete a series of treatments due to unexpected circumstances affecting the therapist, a refund for only the remaining sessions would be provided.
Gift vouchers may be purchased directly from a therapist at the clinic, or via the website in the Shop area. These vouchers will be posted out via Royal Mail within 1-2 working days.
Gift Vouchers are sold as a general hour long appointment or 1 ½ hour appointment. The client can then choose from either Massage, Aromatherapy Massage, Pregnancy Massage or Reiki treatments at the time of booking.
Gift Vouchers for Hot Stones Therapy or the Bliss Treatment Package are sold separately.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from day of purchase. They must be presented at the appointment. Bookings are by appointment and are subject to availability in the usual way. Notice of 24 hours prior to cancellation is required. If the treatment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, the gift voucher may become null and void.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or goods.
All other Blue Lilac terms and conditions apply.
Free car parking is available for clients for the duration of their appointment ONLY in the Derwent Dental carpark. This is located on Wakefield road on the right hand side, a couple of minutes drive past the clinic. Vehicles are left entirely at the owner’s risk. Blue Lilac holds no responsibility for clients’ vehicles.
